Dear Colleagues and Friends in Military ENT,
BLUF: Greenville ENT is hiring for 2027 or 2028. Contact me at [email protected] if you're interested.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rob Eller (USAFA Class of '96; LTC, USA Ret). I'm currently the managing partner of Greenville ENT & Associates. We are an independent, physician-owned practice in Greenville, South Carolina, and we're growing! We are seeking an outstanding general otolaryngologist to join our team. While our greatest need is a general ENT, we'd also welcome conversations with fellowship-trained surgeons who are looking for the right long-term fit.
Our practice includes seven ENT surgeons, 3 APPs (interviewing now for a 4th), audiology, speech pathology, allergy, in-office imaging, and a busy ambulatory surgery center. With our practice, you can practice the full breadth of otolaryngology alongside partners who enjoy teaching, collaborating, and helping one another succeed.
If you haven't spent time in Greenville, it's worth a look. The city has become one of the Southeast's most desirable places to live, with an award-winning downtown, good schools, a thriving food scene, and easy access to the Blue Ridge Mountains, lakes, and South Carolina beaches. Google it, it's a gem!
I understand the transition from military medicine to private practice because I've lived it. After serving on Active Duty in the Air Force in roles ranging from the solo guy at a small base to being an Associate Professor on the faculty at SAMMC, I transitioned to civilian practice while continuing to serve in the Army Reserve, retiring in 2025. I know there are advantages and challenges in every practice setting. Whether you're actively exploring your next step or simply beginning to think about life after military medicine, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation—not only about Greenville ENT, but about the transition itself or any opportunities you're considering.
Email me at [email protected] if you are interested!
Respectfully,
Rob
